Our Winners has a big home section too..This dresser came from my Great Grandma and the color is perfect so I’m a little hesitant to try to refinish it even though I destroyed it when I had it in my room growing up..I tried to paint our old doorknobs, but they ended up getting too crusty to work properly and Chris got locked in the bathroom one day.

I had to hand him a screwdriver through the window so he could bust his way out.So I bought some cheapo replacement knobs for all the doors in here until we get our new doors up and I decide what I really want..

The bedside table areas have been a source for much drama recently.

I bought some glass lamps (like the one on the old dresser that you saw previously) and loved them.Do you have any idea how much work goes into putting a book together?

We started talking about my book in the early fall of last year and this thing probably won’t come out until January of 2017!That leaves a lot of time for a lot more adventures, twists and turns, and more than a few interesting little stories here and there I’m sure.. It’s all going to be worth it and I know I’m just going to love my little (OK, big) book when it’s done and I really hope I can create something that you’ll enjoy too!.
